PURPOSE WRESTLING ANNOUNCES ITS FIRST SHOW

Purpose Wrestling, a new project that looks to promote professional wrestling shows in London, England, has announced its first show. “Feels Like Summer” will take place on Friday, 13th August 2021 at the Merton Arts Space, Wimbledon, and will feature some of the biggest names in the London and U.K. wrestling scene.

Already confirmed to appear are RevPro Cruiserweight Champion The O.J.M.O., Connor Mills, Jordon Breaks, The NIC (Charlie Carter and Oisin Delaney), RJ Singh, Darcy Stone, David Francisco, Rex Armstrong, JJ Lynch, Solomon Lamb, Jordan Saeed and Nino Bryant, with more names to come. All matches will be announced prior to show day.

“There is a vacuum in the London pro-wrestling scene that I couldn’t leave empty”, said Purpose Wrestling promoter David Francisco. “Promotions like Purpose are where wrestlers like the ones announced for the first show make their name and show what they are capable of. They are the backbone of indie wrestling here and around the world, and I’m excited for the opportunity to bring these shows to wrestling fans in London and around the country.”

“Safety of the wrestlers and the audience is our number one priority”, he continued, talking about the challenges of the return to professional wrestling live events. “The industry as a whole needs to learn the lessons that were taught to us last year and change for the better. I take that responsibility very seriously and myself and my team look to continuously improve our safeguarding policies to make Purpose a better place for our wrestlers and our fans.”

Tickets will go on sale for Newsletter Subscribers on 22nd June and for the general public on the 25th June. You can join our Newsletter here and access all the information about “Feels Like Summer” here. You can find Purpose Wrestling safeguarding policies here.
